Dr. Ripley trained in thoracic surgery at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center with a focus in thoracic surgical oncology. Prior to thoracic surgery, he completed the Surgical Oncology Fellowship in the Surgery Branch, NCI, and trained in general surgery at the University of Colorado. He earned a medical doctorate in 2004 from Vanderbilt University.
